As your doula, I'm here to walk alongside you every step of the way. Together, we'll navigate your birth journey with confidence, nurturing your inner strength and fostering self-trust.

My approach is grounded in creating a space where every woman feels deeply seen, heard, and valued as she journeys through the uniquely transformative experience of birthing her child and herself into (or further into) motherhood.
I work with women who are ready to birth on their own terms—women who want more than the conveyor belt of routine care. I am not here to "empower" you, but to be a nurturing presence as you reclaim your birth experience.

I have a special interest in supporting women planning a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean). I understand the unique emotions, added pressures, and sometimes the extra stress that can come with navigating this path.

Autonomy
You have the right to make decision about your own body- this is the fundamental belief that underscores my doula practice. I am here to help you navigate the complexities of the maternity landscape, supporting you in accessing the care that aligns with your wishes. I will stand firmly alongside you, so you feel confident to use your voice for anything which is not right for you. By working collaboratively with your care providers, I help facilitate clear communication, so your choices are both respected and protected.
Knowledge
To confidently take the lead in your birth experience and navigate any challenges, it’s essential to understand your choices and options. With my background as a policy advisor, I bring a keen eye for detail and the ability to "connect the dots," helping you access and comprehend the latest evidence-based information. Together, we’ll take the time to explore your options, ensuring you feel informed and confident in making decisions that align with your unique wishes.
Emotional & Physical Support
I offer a judgement-free space where you can freely explore your thoughts, feelings, hopes, and past experiences. Unlike the time constraints of NHS appointments, we have the space to deeply unpack what’s truly important to you- —it can be surprising what emotions may surface around birth.

Whether you want support with hypnobirthing, rebozo techniques, active birth positions, massage, aromatherapy—or simply need a hand to hold—I’m here for you. However, my expertise is in knowing when to step back —sometimes, as birth unfolds and you turn inward, you have everything within you to birth and may need little or no physical support.

I also help alleviate the stress on your birth partner, allowing them to focus on their vital role. I can take on practical tasks like making tea, setting up an oxytocin-friendly environment, offering snacks, filling the birth pool, or providing childcare support.

Hi, I'm Lizzy
I live in Malvern with my husband Martin and our three children, Alice, Ted, and Sidney. My friends and family would describe me as quietly confident, passionate, and thoughtful.

My journey into the birth world began in 2016 during my first pregnancy, where I became deeply fascinated with pregnancy, birth, and beyond. This initial curiosity slowly evolved into a profound spiritual calling to support women and families on their transformative journey into Motherhood.

Through my own diverse birth experiences, I've come to appreciate the unique beauty and individuality of each birth. These experiences have shaped my belief in the importance of personalised support and empowerment during this profound life event.

Outside of my doula practice, I work part-time as a policy advisor within the civil service. This role has nurtured my proactive, assertive, and driven approach, which I bring to my doula practice to ensure comprehensive support for every client.
